Yesterday at work my friend Bonnie was telling me about the cute holiday crafts she got at a place called The Wood Connection. I’d been to the furniture store, but I’d never seen any crafts.. well apparently there is a separate location that is JUST craft supplies. We found their blog & oh my gosh I about died! Everything was super cute & way affordable.
So today (Saturday) I dragged Mic to the craft store. (He was thrilled..) PS DO NOT GO THERE ON A SATURDAY- EVER! That place is crazy busy. And it’s not very big.
I seriously wanted to buy one of everything & I couldn’t narrow down what to buy. We were there forever & I kept asking Mic “Should I get this one, or this one..?” , not that he really cared.. but he was seriously such a good sport for A: agreeing to shop with me in the first place and B: for patiently waiting for me to make up my mind.
Then I went to Hobby Lobby to pick up more supplies (this time I went by myself, I’d tortured Mic enough). I could so spend my whole paycheck at Hobby Lobby. Good thing they have good sales & 40% off coupons.
I spent the rest of the afternoon blasting country music and crafting away.
Then our friends Josh and Chelsea came over with their cute baby Balin and we all hung out and ate Pizza.
Sophie loves Balin because he’s right on her same level army crawling or rolling around the floor. I got a lot of cute pictures of the two of them playing.
What a nice day off. Cleaned my house and crafted. Two of my favorite things. Now if only it wasn’t getting so COLD! BRRR. * I want to move to Phoenix right about now.

The before and after of my "WITCH". I had already started painting the W when I realized I would probably want a before picture.

Balin and Sophie deep in conversation. LOL. This is one of probably a dozen pictures I took of the two of them playing together on the floor.
LOVE your awesome "witch" letters! You've got some mad painting/craft skills.
