Last Wednesday we got together with my friends Laura & Tifanie for dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. Delicious as always. And we had to get our dessert to-go because we'd eaten too much, but who can pass up on cheesecake? I
always order the Dulce de leche cheesecake but Mic wanted to try the Smores one this time. Definitely not as good, so I'm glad we've planned a night back for dessert only.
Friday: Mic got us 4 tickets through work to James Taylor and the Utah Symphony and Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert at the Conference Center. We took my mom and her friend Janell. It was SO good! And we had perfect seats. Seriously James Taylor is the best, still all these years later.
Saturday: We started the day yard selling, which is always a good time. Not sure why I enjoy this so much lately. We found a bunch of stuff and didn't spend more than $20. I got a super cute J. Crew sundress that looks brand new for $2 which I wore that night to Laura's Bachelorette party. I also found some shirts, alphabet/number mat, a cute blue pot for $1 and I can't remember what else right now.

Saturday night was Laura's Bachelorette party at The Melting Pot. So fun! None of us had been there before. The dessert is definitely the best, and I'll prob go back with Mic just for dessert. It is quite the long dining experience.

Sunday: We got together with my aunt, mom, mace, and my cousin Cliff & his family for a picnic at Copperton Park. Glad the weather stopped raining so we could enjoy the outdoors. We had a picnic, played tag on the playground- grownups included, and played speed/twister basketball. I think I surprised Mic with my shooting skills pregnant and all. It was so fun, and we are quite the competitive group.

| I still like this pict even if Mic didn't know it was being taken ;) |

Tuesday: I had to do the pregnancy glucose tolerance test. The drink you drink isn't that bad. I got my results back today and my glucose level was slightly high so now I have to do some fasting 3 hr test. Not looking forward to hanging out at the lab for 3 hrs and getting my blood drawn every hour. Hoping I pass and I don't have gestational diabetes!

I also had my Dr appt. She measured me and was surprised to see that I'm measuring at 31 weeks! Not the nearly 27 that I actually am. She measured 3x just to make sure. But nope, I'm measuring 4 wks ahead of schedule. I don't really understand why, I've kept my weight in check, I eat right, and we exercise daily so who knows. I asked her if this means I'm going to have a 10lb baby because I cannot do that! She says we'll keep watching my growth and if I continue to indicate I'm having a big baby they can do an ultrasound to more accurately measure the baby and if I have to I might have an early elective c-section. I'm not thrilled with the idea of a c-section but pushing out a +10lb baby doesn't seem feasible either. I also don't know about having the baby early. I'm hoping to last until after finals which ends Dec 10th. But I may be having a Nov baby. Mic always joked that we'd have a Thanksgiving baby- hope he isn't right.
We started cleaning out the spare room where Mic keeps all his clothes. I have too many clothes to have his stuff in our room as well. I have officially taken over 2 closets (in my defense one is teeny tiny) and 2 large dressers! So the plan is to combine our stuff into our room and make the spare room into the nursery. I'm still hoping we can buy a house in the near future, but in the meantime we probably need a nursery until we move. It was fun organizing our clothes because that spare room was kinda a disaster. I bagged up all my old scrubs that took up two dresser drawers since the hospital has gone to standardized scrubs and RNs wear navy blue. I don't want to get rid of my scrubs completely just yet. But in cleaning out those drawers I realized I have a ridiculous amount of scrubs. Like who needs 5 different shades of red, pink, blue and grey?!

| this pict doesn't do the piles justice. I own a TON of scrubs. |
That's basically what we've been up to. I have my last country concert this week to look forward to. Luke Bryan, my absolute favorite. I enter the third trimester this weekend also. Our 4 year anniversary is coming Sunday. Can't believe it has already been 4 years. Time seriously flies by! Our last anniversary while its just the two of us. I don't know how I feel about that.
