Sunday we all headed to Park City to check out the Park Silly Sunday Market. I was hoping to find some cute knit animal hats for the baby for this winter/her newborn pictures but didn't have much luck. Which is odd, because prior to being pregnant I could've sworn we saw a booth of different animal knit hats but now that I'm in the market to buy some they're no where to be found.
The weather was cool in PC so all the walking we did wasn't bad.
I swore the Swiss Days were that same day so we headed to Midway after walking around PC to check out their booths, only to find out that Swiss Days was Fri and Sat and not Sun. In fact all of Midway looked shut down on Sun. Lame. I've never been to Swiss Days but have always wanted to. Next year for sure!
Once we got back to SLC we dropped the dogs off at home, picked up my dad, and headed to Oktoberfest at Snowbird. We go every year and the scenery is beautiful. Tif had never been so it was fun to show her what it was all about.
Oktoberfest was too crowded though! I don't know that we'll go again next year.
Oh and funny side note story.. the lines to the women's bathroom was ridiculously long- like a half hr wait I am not even kidding. So when I saw this boyfriend tell his girlfriend to just sneak in the "near empty" men's room with him, I jumped right on following her in. There were only 2 stalls and a bunch of urinals (gross). But when I went in there wasn't really anyone in there, and the boyfriend warned the guys at the urinals that we were sneaking in. But when I came out of the stall the urinals were all full of guys that hadn't been there for the disclosure that I was sneaking in. Slightly embarrassing for both parties probably but I pulled the pregnancy card. Btw sadly this isn't my first time using the men's restroom. But who has the patience to wait in crazy long lines for the women's anyway?
