And the countdown begins for my final semester of nursing school. Exactly 100 days folks!

School started back up last week for fall semester. And my last semester of nursing school! How crazy. The first day back wasn't bad, just a lot of information about what this semester is going to entail. It was nice seeing my classmates after having a 3 week break. Each semester seems to be an easier adjustment to school life, and I cannot help but think how stressful that first week of the first semester was. Looking back its hard to believe how far I've come. I hate adjusting to the unknown, and that first week back in Aug I hardly ate the whole week due to stress and lost 10 lbs in one week. Fortunately I have a cute mom who bought me slim fast shakes in bulk every month and I drank that at least and seemed to survive.

This semester aside from the 135 hrs of precepting in shock trauma I only have 2 psych clincials. I'm so stoked about not having to wake up at 4am and drive for 45min-1 hr for clinicals 10x a semester.

We have a ton of practice exams to prepare us for the NCLEX as well, so hopefully those help, because from what I've heard the test is brutal.

I'm sure this semester will fly by like the previous 3. And crazy to think that at the end of the semester, I'll not only be graduating from nursing school (4 straight semesters no summer breaks) but I'll also be having a baby. I have lots to do between now and then.
