24th of July festivities.

Happy 24th of July (yesterday). I love the 4th & 24th for the fireworks & family barbecues. We missed the fireworks on the 4th because I was exhausted after our fun gender reveal party & had to be up early to work all day on the 5th. So for the 24th I was determined to go somewhere to watch the fireworks. We headed to Butlerville Days because it is close to our house and I'd heard they have a good firework show. Lots of fun with Mic, Tif & her family & new guy friend.
I'm looking quite pregnant in this pict. But I love my new maxi dress. 20wks! Halfway done!

our fun group
But before we went to the fireworks, Mic, Keith & I drove clear the freak to Manti & Ephraim Canyon to scope out a good camping spot for the family camping trip in a couple weeks, and go fishing. That area is beautiful! I could spend so much time in the outdoors/mtns.

We did a lot of off-roading in Keith's truck in areas that I swear were only for ATVs. If we'd done this a couple weeks ago I would've been so sick from the bumpy, narrow, crazy roads we were driving on. But I think I've finally turned a corner and I find myself surprised by how normal I finally feel! Hallefrickenlujah! I did have to close my eyes for a lot of it though, freaked me out!

The boys fished & I mostly attempted to study for my finals next wk. I need to find some motivation though- so burned out. Its a good thing I have time off in Aug to regroup. Especially after hearing about our schedules next semester :/ I thought class once a wk and precepting 135 hrs was the majority of next semester, but don't let one day of class a wk fool ya- we have A TON of exams we have to do on our own time. Still so grateful to be in nursing school, and almost done! Cannot believe it.

Multitasking- fishing while studying.

keith & mic taking the mud flaps off the truck bc it kept hitting the terrain we were cruising over.

ps
In my last post I mentioned a cute diaper bag I was looking forward to getting... well I got it! I've been looking at this bag daily practically, and I love the whole Petunia Pickle Bottom line. It was hard to decide which one I wanted, but I always kept coming back to this one. I think I'll love it.
super cute, and larger than it appears in the pict.
