My mom's soon-to-be new home

My parents sold the house I pretty much grew up in (from second grade-19 years old.) So many memories from that house. I remember when we moved in thinking it was huge, and loving the intercom system. The backyard was large, and my mom made it beautiful with her garden/landscaping skills. I will miss that house, but I'm glad for her new adventure.
She's been living with Mic and me while her house she's building gets finished. Their house sold faster than anticipated and she still had close to 8 weeks until her house would be finished. It has been fun having her live with us. She has been a big help while I've been crazy busy. She organized the entire basement! And Sophie & Jack love her & the extra attention.
I can't wait to see her house all finished. It has been fun seeing the progress that has been made. She did a great job picking out every detail of the house, inside and out.
Mace has claimed the unfinished basement as his "man cave" and seriously wants to sleep down there, even though there'll be two nice bedrooms upstairs he could choose from, with closets to die for. Silly boy.
PS
The new homeowners wanted to buy my playhouse (that was on the back deck) that my dad built Laura & I when we were young, and that I've made my mom save all these years (+20). I said "hell no!" to that idea.
I'll have to include more pictures as these last couple weeks go by and the moving in date approaches. Just in time for the holidays :)
Sad day when this for sale sign went up.
Mic, best pod organizer ever. Must be from all that practice playing tetris ;)

Can you believe we practically fit almost all of her house in here?!
my playhouse that is NOT for sale, loaded on the trailer & headed to my house :)

My old bike that was hanging in the garage that I gave to a neighbor girl.

Mic, Laura & Alex doing the heavy lifting of the piano onto the truck to come to my house.

The cute benches didn't fit in the pod so they're being stored in my garage

First snow for the new house.
