Saturday I went to the dog park with two friends and their dogs. It was hot but a lot of fun. Between the 3 of us we had 4 dogs, and they were all white.. at least they started out white. By the end of it they were all a mess. Soph loved it. She enjoys going on hikes, and playing with other dogs.

Sunday:
On Father’s day we (My dad, Mic, Mace & I) went fishing at Jordanell Reservoir. We
couldn’t go early in the morning when the fishing is good, because we were
painting part of the basement at my mom’s house. (That project is almost done, and soon the house will be on the market.)
I packed us all lunches and drinks and we headed up to
Jordanell. We decided not to take the boat this time.
We had to hike a ways to find a good shady spot to fish off the
shore from. (note to self: stop trying to hike in flip flops).
1o minutes into fishing and before Mic even had his pole
ready, I managed to step on an old fishing hook. Tetanus shot anyone? I made
Mic get it out of my foot. This seems to be a common occurrence when we go
fishing.
We didn’t catch anything but it was still fun to just get away
and enjoy the outdoors. Next time we’ll leave early, and take the boat, and then
when it gets too hot we can jump into the lake in our swimsuits.

That night Mic and I went to the drive-ins and saw
Madagascar 3 and What to Expect When You’re Expecting. Both were way funny. I don't think either of us saw Madagascar 2, but seriously I haven't laughed that hard watching a movie in A LONG TIME. And
I actually stayed awake for both! I love the drive-ins!
