Last week my mom heard about a free meal for the pre-opening of Noodles & Co in Jordan Landing through her work. She forwarded Laura and I the email/link and we all registered to go to dinner together Monday night. The opening was Tuesday so they were holding a free meal all day the day before as a practice run I guess. I told my friend Michelle and her husband what time we were registered for and that they should come too. I’m all for free food!
I thought it would be crazy busy but it really wasn’t that bad. They had had everyone register for a specific time throughout the day and only allowed so many people “reservations” during that time. Mic was meeting us there but couldn’t stay the whole time because he had to go to class. We were through the line so fast that I ended up ordering his meal for him.
I hadn’t been to Noodles in forever, and I when I have gone I always get their Mac & Cheese. Its to die for. But this time I wanted to try something new (afterall, if I didn’t love it, it wouldn’t matter because it had been free).
I had the Pesto Cavatappi with chicken and a Caesar salad. It was SO good. Laura and Alex also ordered us pot stickers for the table. I didn’t even know appetizers were an option.
It was so fun to go out on our triple date.
If you ever do go to Noodles definitely try the Pesto Cavatappi, Wisconsin Mac & Cheese, or if you like spicy, Mark got the spiciest dish on the menu- I think it was the Indonesian Peanut Sauté? If you like spicy- which I can’t get enough of.
PS Everyone makes fun of me that I always take pictures of my food. I can’t even explain why I do this. I just think its fun to look back at the fabulous dishes. So if you were to go through the pictures in my phone the mass majority would be of Sophie & Jack, then random cuisine ones, and lastly a bunch of me and Mic most likely while we are driving in the car. (Me most likely puckering my lips and flashing a gangsta peace sign & Mic looking at me with his “you are a crazy person” face. Haha LOVE that face.
